Our Story
Maredith Management was established in 2001 with a commitment to professional management services and is built on the strong foundation established by Gerhardt & Associates, founded in 1986. From the beginning, Maredith has emphasized the importance of education, training and certification of all management staff. This commitment was rewarded by the Community Association Institute (CAI) when in 2003 Maredith was awarded with the highest designation as an Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC). In order to achieve this certification Maredith must continue to meet the highest ethical, professional and fiscal standards in the industry. The AAMC designation sets Maredith apart from all other management firms based in Southern Maryland.
The value of any company, however, does not reside in designations and certifications; it resides in the capabilities and spirit of its employees. Maredith operates using a “team concept” and empowers employees to achieve their goals though a self-directed, cooperative approach. Through weekly staff meetings, team building and constant emphasis on improving our services, our team members are engaged in every aspect of company operations and therefore, prepared to best serve our clients.
